Independent Travellers

The seat reservation is obligatory and may be made, at the earliest, 90 days before the proposed date at all Swiss railway stations, at the most major railway stations abroad, at all travel agents selling rail tickets or directly online on this page.

Group travel

Reservations for parties requiring more than ten seats in the Glacier Express can be made at the central reservation office.


Seat reservation fees

The seat reservation is obligatory and will be levied on anyone travelling by the Glacier Express. The fee must be paid in full by all passengers, including children and ohters holding discount travel passes. This does not apply to children under six who do not require a seat. Holders of all TCV and Eurail passes must also pay the fee.
