Glacier Express Surcharge and seat reservation
Use of the Glacier Express is subject to a Surcharge. This price does not include the surcharge. Every person requiring a seat will be charged a surcharge. Seat reservation is obligatory.
Children
Children up to 6 years of age travel free.
Children aged from 6 to 16: 50% reduction
Children on a family ticket travel free
Dogs in the Glacier Express
Dogs may be taken along on journeys in the Glacier Express, except for the dining car. Dogs pay the half-fare of a normal 2nd class ticket for the desired stretch. Small dogs with a shoulder height of no more than 30 cm travel free of charge in the carriage when transported in cages, baskets or other suitable boxes. If those dogs are taken out of their boxes, a half-fare ticket needs to be paid for. A seat reservation for dogs is not necessary.

Your 1/2 price ticket allows you to travel for half price
The junior ticket allows children under 16 to travel free when accompanied by at least one parent
Railpass (GA) and day tickets are valid on the whole line of the Glacier Express.
Short passage:
The Galcier Express trains are basically reserved to groups and indiviual guest, who book the whole journey between Zermatt and St. Moritz or vice versa.
