Luggage information for the Glacier Express

Due to the limited space on the Glacier Express, we kindly ask you to organise luggage transport wherever possible. We have the following luggage recommendations:

The Glacier Express is not suitable for the following items of baggage:

    • Ski luggage
    • Oversized luggage
    • Bicycles/electric scooters

We also recommend that you do not bring more than 1 additional piece of baggage in addition to your hand luggage.

Individual passengers:

Jaisli Mobility Service:

For individual passengers, we recommend transporting luggage via our reliable partner Jaisli Mobility Service. Luggage can be collected from and delivered to any address in Switzerland. Delivery is guaranteed by 6 p.m. on the same day of travel at the latest and can be booked online here by 5 p.m. on the day before your trip.

Group travellers:

SBB group baggage “Door to door” offer (for groups of 10 or more):

For groups, we recommend the SBB Service, which is available for groups of 10 or more. Baggage check-in is generally possible until 9 a.m. and delivery from 6 p.m. onwards. Please note: Exceptions: Zermatt – St. Moritz or St. Moritz – Zermatt: collection takes place at 7 a.m. so that luggage arrives at its destination on time.
